Equipment Room
Weekly preventative maintenance — completed by Store Management
🔧  Equipment Room
Goal: Confirm chemical delivery, air systems, and equipment room mechanicals are within spec and functioning correctly.
Is the salt in the salt tank level over halfway full?
Add salt if no
Is the oil in all powerpacks over 3/4 full?
If no, add oil
Are all air compressor tank drains time and duration set to 10 seconds every 4 hours?
Have you pressed the test button on all air compressors to ensure operation?
If no, state why in notes
Are all air compressors within the acceptable pressure range?
PSI should be between 140-175 — VERIFY WITH ERIC
Is the oil in the air compressors at the appropriate levels?
Use sight gauge on air compressor to verify
Is the oil in the air compressors in good condition?
Oil should NOT be milky
Drain any water from the air separators on all chemical pumps
Are all chemical lines free of backflow issues?
Clear any air bubbles in chemical lines
Can any air leaks be heard in the equipment room?
Are all chemical delivery panels set between 200-250 PSI?
Are foot valves for all chemical lines clean and inspected for damage?
Are all high-pressure pumps set at the appropriate PSI?

Is the thermostat set to the appropriate temperature?

Clean the scrubbies in all foam generators
Is the VPD functioning properly?

Includes overhead lights, colored LED, indicator lights, and signage

Conveyor

Goal: Confirm chain tension, grates, and drive/take-up sections are in good working condition.
Is the chain tension within the appropriate range?
70-80 PSI — VERIFY WITH ERIC
Does the chain have the proper amount of tension?
Check the position of the take-up carriage. If it has reached the back collars, remove links from the chain.
Are all grates in place and flat, with no gaps in between pieces?
Are all grates placed with the rough side facing up?
Is the take-up section plate secure?
Are the rubber pads on the take-up door in good condition?
Listen for any air leaks in the take-up section
Clean all three conveyor decks at the take-up section
Is the drive section plate secure?
Clean all three conveyor decks at the drive section
Grease rotational bearings on the take-up drum
Lubricate the take-up air cylinder
Fluid Film
Inspect chain for any broken, cracked, or chipped rollers or links. Replace as necessary
